Improving the Odds of Venture Success

My research focuses on the factors that lead to improved odds of success for founders of new ventures. Specifically, the focus is on how founders can interact with stakeholders to encourage them to engage in "advocate behaviors" --helping the new venture by trying new products, recommmending the firm for employment, or even providing funding for the firm to launch. My teaching and work in the Venture commmunity has led to positions on the Indiana Venture Center and Venture Club Boards of Directors.
