Targets of Immune Evasion

We aim to discover the ways in which viruses and tumors evade the ability of the immune system of the host to combat these "environmental insults". Upon learning these "secrets" utilized by cancer and/or viruses, we can then target those means of immune evasion. Ultimately, we expect these findings to translate into new and more effective treatments and vaccines.
