Translational research is not an isolated division; rather it takes the expertise of several branches for example clinical as well basic science to be successful. Being a quantitative scientist my main goal is to foster new collaboration with other domain experts. In the past I have collaborated with several biologists, medical doctors on projects related to bioinformatics and biostatistics. Specifically I have contributed to the projects related to Metabonomic Analysis of Truama though Mass Spectrometry (Dave Grant, UCONN), Biomarker detection in Genetics (Jeff Townsend, Yale) and more recently Quality of life assessment in the pre/post liver transplantation (Patricia Scott, IUPUI). Apart from this my own statistical methodology research includes novel statistical model development in non-standard applications including (but not limited to) Survival Analysis, Sampling design and Machine learning etc.
