IARCCA Outcome Measures Project
The primary aim of the IARCCA Outcome Measures Project (referred to as the Project) is to evaluate the effectiveness of programs provided to children and families. The Project, conceived in 1995 and initiated on a statewide scale in 1998, has collected information on youth receiving treatment from participating IARCCA member agencies (around 100 foster care and residential care agencies statewide). Aggregated results are reported annually, and topical reports are provided as well. The data has been used by individual agencies through consultations with researchers, and an evaluation mentorship program is underway.
